Grand Blue Mining Guide

Direct answerMining is one of Grand Blue's four life skills: equip a pickaxe, interact with ore nodes and fill the mining bar to collect ore, then bank it for crafting. The Dwarf race boosts mining (+15% double resources, +25% mining XP — community, 4 sources). Exact node maps, respawns and yields are unverified.
How mining works
- Equip a pickaxe (starter tool available; upgrades via crafting)
- Find an ore node on the island
- Interact and hold until the mining bar fills
- Collect the ore and bank it — crafting consumes it
The pickaxe ladder
Community guides describe a repeat loop: mine what your current pickaxe can break, bank the ore, watch the crafting menu unlock new recipes, craft the upgraded pickaxe, then return to higher-tier nodes. Early recipes are weak on purpose — pick one mining loop and stick to it.
What ore becomes
- Crafting materials for weapons/equipment
- Slingshot ammunition ingredients (Lead Ball context, community)
- Upgrade material chains as recipes unlock
Dwarf synergy
The Dwarf race is the mining specialist (community, 4 sources): +15% double resource chance from mining and smelting, +25% mining XP, +10% Max HP, -10% move speed, gear stats +1 level, weapon skill cooldown -10%.
What stays unverified
Exact node locations, respawn timers, per-node yields and recipe quantities are not published. Re-check the crafting menu after patches — Early Access changes recipes.
