How to Calculate Grand Blue Drop Odds

For a reliable fixed per-attempt rate, the chance of at least one drop after n independent attempts is 1 − (1 − p)ⁿ. The calculator also shows the chance of zero drops and the attempts needed to reach 50%, 75%, 90% and 95% cumulative probability.

This assumes each attempt is an independent roll with the same rate. It does not assume pity, luck boosts, server boosts, multiple rolls per clear or a guaranteed reward unless the record explicitly supports that mechanic.

Boss Drops Available in the Calculator

The current list is intentionally limited to records already published on Grand Blue Boss Drops. Rates are stored as decimals and formatted only in the interface. Named boss routes with no reliable rate remain searchable so you can still answer where to look.

How Many Runs Do You Need?

Target-run figures are probability thresholds, not promises. A 95% target still leaves a 5% chance of zero drops, and the average can be much lower or higher for any individual session.

What “Expected Attempts” Actually Means

Expected attempts is 1 ÷ p: the statistical average across many independent farming sessions. It is not a guarantee, a pity counter or a prediction that your next run will pay out.

Why Drop Rates Sometimes Conflict

When credible sources disagree, the correct state is CONFLICTING—not a silently selected number. The calculator data model supports a low and high reported rate so conservative and higher-reported estimates can be shown side by side once a conflict is documented. The current published records above do not add an undocumented conflict just to make the table look complete.

How We Verify Grand Blue Drop Data

Evidence labels separate Official, Gameplay Verified, Multi-source Confirmed, Community Reported, Conflicting and Unverified/HOLD. Grand Blue is in Early Access, so rates can change after updates. Always check the date, reward bucket and current in-game Logbook before committing to a long farm.

Boss Farming Notes

  • Previous failures do not make the next independent roll more likely.
  • Do not merge a boss reward, chest reward, quest turn-in and world-event payout into one fake drop table.
  • No time estimate is shown because boss respawn, kill duration, travel and server mechanics are not reliably published.
  • Use the Boss Drops guide for route context and the Build Finder for preparation decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. At 5% per independent attempt, the calculator shows the cumulative chance after 20 runs, but an individual session can still see zero drops.
The tool reports the chance of still having zero drops and gives a neutral interpretation. You are not 'due' for a drop, and the next independent attempt is not more likely.
No. The source route remains visible, but a probability result requires a reliable numeric rate.
No. Reliable respawn, kill and travel data is not consistently published, so V1 avoids fake time precision.
It means the claim is allowed to be useful, but it comes from community evidence rather than an official drop table. Check the date and source before planning around it.
