Grand Blue Trait Tier List

Grand Blue Trait Tier List
Direct answerCurrent answer: the Grand Blue trait tier list is framework-ready, but named traits remain on HOLD. Community sources support the five rarity tiers, the two permanent Trait slots, Trait Storage, and an observed Mythic trait chance of about 0.15%. They do not safely support a named S/A/B list yet. This is an editorial guide, not an official ranking.

Trait rarity and storage facts

Community sources agree on the rarity ladder: Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic. The only trait probability this page publishes is the community-reported Mythic trait chance of about 0.15%, cross-checked against the grandblue.wiki Chances panel and Robolibrary's five-tier system note.

Trait 1 and Trait 2 are the permanent equipped slots. Trait Storage is also reported in the game UI, including a plus-button storage flow, but the number of storage slots should be treated as UI-dependent until the current live menu is checked.

Ranking methodology

This tier list does not claim official rankings or universal community consensus. A named trait can move into S, A or B only after two independent sources agree on the name, live gameplay confirms the effect, and the effect solves a clear role problem such as leveling, bossing, PvE pressure or cooldown comfort.

TierMeaningPublish rule
SBuild-defining and broadly usefulRequires verified name + verified effect + role fit
AStrong for a clear roleRequires verified name + effect and at least one practical use case
BUsable but replaceableRequires verified effect and no major source conflict
SituationalGood only for a specific build axisRequires verified effect and a clear Fruit / Sword / Style / Bossing use
HOLDNot rankable yetUsed for every named trait until evidence clears the gate

Situational Trait Logic

Because named trait effects are not stable enough to publish, this page ranks decision axes instead of names. Community observations put trait effects on axes such as fruit damage, cooldown and HP. Use those axes as a checklist, not as proof that a specific named trait exists or has a fixed number.

Build needTrait axis to prefer after in-game verificationWhat stays HOLD
Fruit buildFruit damage or cooldown comfortNamed trait, exact percent, cooldown value
Sword buildReliable damage or survivability if the live effect supports itAny named sword-trait claim
Fighting Style buildCooldown or HP-style support only after checking the current UISpecific style synergy numbers
BossingSurvivability, uptime or consistent damage axisBoss-specific best trait names

How to use this page before rerolling

  1. Read the Traits hub first so you know which fields are HOLD
  2. Check Rerolls and Codes before spending scarce trait rerolls
  3. Keep a trait only when you can verify the current in-game effect, not because a third-party tier image says S
  4. Treat the 0.15% Mythic chase as a resource trap unless your current build already works
  5. Stop when the evidence is unclear; do not chase an unverified name

Reroll resource notes

Community code lists include Trait Rerolls, and the site Codes page currently tracks examples such as HappySunday and NewYouNewCrew. Code rewards rotate, so this page links to the existing Codes and Rerolls pages instead of freezing a separate code table here.

What would change this tier list

  • A verified in-game screenshot or gameplay check for a trait name and effect
  • Two independent sources converging on the same named trait behavior
  • A patch or UI change that exposes trait details more clearly
  • Search Console demand for a specific trait, after the fact gate is cleared

Frequently Asked Questions

No. It is an editorial evidence framework for a fan guide. Official sources do not publish trait rankings.
Because trait names, effects and odds conflict across third-party sources. Publishing a named list now would invent certainty.
Community sources report five tiers: Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic.
Usually not early. The community Chances panel reports Mythic traits at about 0.15%, so a week-one Mythic hunt can burn limited code rerolls before your fruit, race and basic build are stable.
Only reroll with a clear goal and current in-game confirmation. Read the Rerolls and Codes pages before spending resources.
It helps you preserve options, but storage capacity should be checked in the current UI. It does not make unverified named traits publishable.
Yes, but only after names and effects pass the evidence gate. Until then, missing data stays missing.
